Hi — We’re sorry to hear you had a reaction. A product can be rated as safe; however, contain other ingredients that case irritation. This product includes several ingredients that may cause irritation for some individuals, which is why it’s not classified as “irritant-free.” We suggest adding it to your “Got a Reaction” list to help you identify patterns and avoid potential triggers. I bought this "SAFE for Me" product on October 14 and used it on my hands, neck, and face on October 21. By the following morning, my face felt burning and tight, and both neck and face had red, itchy blotches and streaks. After 2 full days, most symptoms improved. Now, a week after application, face blotches and streaks are gone , though facial skin still feels mild burning/stinging and tight. Neck still has reddish itchy areas. A warning - this is not safe for everyone, even if it's in your safe list. The good: I wish this product was safe for me. It's a light lotion, readily absorbed, with no odor. When I put it on, I was delighted. But the prospect of a safe, comfortable, effective sunscreen was too good to be true. Your mileage may differ.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
