A good clarifying shampoo that adds a lot of volume but can be drying. As with most natural soaps, wash twice, rinse thoroughly and be sure to condition or seal the hair with a vinegar rinse.
I enjoyed this shampoo bar only briefly; I suspect the sodium cocoate cross reacts with one of my known allergens because this shampoo bar irritated my skin and gave me an allergic reaction. Otherwise, it would be a good bar to keep in rotation and plan to use a good leave in conditioner. Maybe not for frequent use unless you have heavy product build up or greasier than average hair

There are very limited shampoos that I can use and I am trying them all. This shampoo bar is so bizarre. It lathers nicely, feels as though it rinses clean and then the weirdness begins. I have extremely straight, long hair. After using this, My hair looks and feels like I have been on the beach for an entire day. I cannot possibly get my fingers through it and it dries in a voluminous, clumpy lions mane. Such a strange experience. It was no long available on Amazon so I bought directly from the manufacturers site. Paid way too much for shipping and now I feel like I need to use it. Lol
I just wish there was one shampoo and conditioner available for me that worked well.
